A little Wray of sunshine

It's race cake, Jim, but not as we know it ...

While one Royal Family were off celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday, the Kingston Royals family were enjoying a day of dragonboat racing down the road from Windsor at not-so-sunny Wraysbury. Just as in street parties all across the land, cake had to be eaten. Unfortunately Karen's famous race cake had a slight accident en route so while it tasted as wonderful as ever, it may not have won the prettiest cake competition. Still, it provided a little sunshine in an otherwise very wet day.

Despite the weather, racing was close and hard fought. Full results available at www.dragonboat.org.uk
