Chinatown Hong Kong races - serious fun!
Well earned chill!
The London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival had a party atmosphere from start to finish. In spite of windy conditions, the races ran like clockwork and setting out areas for each competing team in the marshalling area with easy access to paddles and PFDs showed great organisation.
There was a good level of competition to make it interesting and it was a bit different from most of the events we usually attend.
We were spoiled by the wonderful choice of food and drink stalls and the live music kept us entertained when we weren't paddling.
Let's do it again next year!
