How big's the club?

Kingston Royals has a membership of around 80 men and women. Members are split into two teams to race, the “Royals” race in the Premier Division of the National League and the “Pretenders” are our second, possibly more social paddlers crew.    Selection to the “Royals” boat is by time trials which are held on a regular basis.  However, training and partying is done as one club.  We like to think of ourselves as very inclusive, whether you want to be a GB international or just race with us at league events, you'll always be welcome.

We are based out of the same clubhouse as 3 other clubs, Walbrook Rowing Club, the Skiff Club and Royal Canoe Club, meaning our facilities are better than we could afford on our own!
